Fabric paint tarps could be mounted to poles or hooks on your house or nearby trees. You can paint the tarps, if you prefer.
If you're good at sewing, purchase Sunbrella fabric, hem the edges, install eyelets and mount. Fabric can be left as rectangles or cut into offset triangles.
Costco sells premade ones at reasonable prices.

Buy a tarp with lots of edge grommets at Harbor Freight (25% off coupons are plentiful)
and zip tie it to a frame, made from PVC plumbing pipe.
To make sure you build a frame to line up with the grommet holes, sketch it out to scale on graph paper.
if that’s not something you can do, then cut the graph paper down to size that represents the tarp- like 1 square = 1’,
then design your canopy frame with more graph paper.
spray paint the frame after assembly, because PVC is not UV stable.
You could use a Tarp and hang it with large bungys

Hi Toda. You could make shade sails out of drop cloths. They come in a variety of sizes and are reasonably priced. Some of them have grommets already on them. All you have to do is measure the space you want to cover and buy accordingly. I tried attaching grommets into one of mine and found it difficult. I eventually got one to replace it with that had the grommets already on it. Much easier. Take a look on Amazon. That's where I got mine. Good luck Toda. I hope you are well.
Depending on what you’re looking to do and what you have existing, shade sails are great.
