How to hide grout lines when painting tile?
I have hideous 12 inch floor tile with 1 inch grout line. Can someone give me advice on how to paint tile with a stencil to hide those grout lines? Please and Thank you!!

Stenciling a Tile Bathroom Floor
Hi Jan, If you are able to find a stencil that you like that has a pattern that is not the same size as your tile, you could stencil your floor and the pattern would hide the grout lines. You could also paint it (and paint right over the grout) and this would less then contrast of the grout lines.
Perhaps this will help?

There are some beautiful floor stencils that you can use. Here's a link for ideas:

Good suggestions. By the way they are "grout" lines, not "grount".
Wow! 1" grout lines are a lot to hide and are unusually large. You could paint the entire floor one color and then go back and use the sencil of your choice , ignoring where the grout is. I imagine the grouted area will still bother you......it would me. Good luck.
Rather than trying to hide them, consider incorporating into your design so that it will be less noticeable. Lay the pattern so that it overlaps partially into them.
Thank you for all of the wonderful suggestions. Stenciling is what I plan on doing, just need to find a stencil bigger than 12".
