Remodel a schoolhouse clock into a grandfather clock?
I have a schoolhouse clock that I love, but I wonder if it's possible to build a wooden case and turn it into a grandfather clock? Thanks!

I'm sure you could. It would be a matter of taking careful measurements to build a case to fit under it. The schoolhouse clock would have to be attached to the top. Some decorative accents would be a way to enhance the entire piece. Here's a link with plans for building grandfather clocks. I hope it helps:

Yes. There are probably kits to do this.
Hi Sharon, a fun idea might be to browse your local listing on Facebook or check out your local salvage yards. You might get lucky and find an old broken Grandfather clock that you could replace the face with your schoolhouse clock and refinish / upgrade.
You could build around it or maybe add it to an old grandfather clock
look in thrift stores and online in your area for old grandfather clocks you can use to put your school house clock in -
