3po3 on Aug 15, 2012Seems like your best bet is to take this picture to a good nursery in your area and see what similar cultivars they recommend. Folks can probably make some good guesses about this plant, but it's hard to know if their ideas are plants that work well in your area.Helpful Reply

Sherrie S on Aug 15, 2012Guess what Steve G, I'm waiting for Douglas Hunt to see what he has to say. He may recommend something else. I do have a really great nursery but I also like a number of opinions.Helpful Reply

Marg C on Aug 16, 2012with the millions of roses out there you also might want to do your research online. I have no clue...well some clues but I don't want to be wrong and mislead you. I understand that you want EXACTLY the rose in the picture. Try to remember where you bought it and ask them the nursery that they get their plants from and go from there. calling the company and asking which roses they shipped to that store in 2002 might be a great idea.Helpful Reply

Sherrie S on Aug 16, 2012Sharron W, you are 100% correct. After you mentioned the name I remembered buying it from Jackson/Perkins. My local nursery will be getting some in tomorrow. I'll be the first customer. Marg C, please take a chance & be wrong or right. I love reading all answers - they can't ALL be right. Don Juan Rose is a beauty!Helpful Reply
