What are good plants to place in front of boxwoods?
I have a row of boxwoods in front of my porch. I want to add color, but don't know what would work best. I live in Southeast Texas (Zone 8 or 9). Any suggestions?
Purple coneflower. I love them.
I have cone flowers also....so pretty but I think you have a weed growing in front of it. I would pull it so that you can see the pretty cone flowers.
I believe a few above are correct. With it's reddish stems and landed leaves it looks like mugwort, or artemesia vulgaris. You may enjoy it. Let it flower, and if you dislike it, it can always be pulled before it seeds.
