Cover walls over bath that has a shower.

I need to know how to do this cheaply and easily. The shower is attached to the bath taps and runs up the wall on the outside. The walls are waterproof but ugly.

Are you wanting to change the look? Are they tile? They make tub and tile paint that is meant for painting surfaces in the bathroom that get wet, you can buy it at most home improvement stores. -

Oh the old clawfoot tub shower hook up? I'd say cheapest fix... a good water proof paint. Ruff up the walls 1st so the paint adheres better. I painted the inside of a ugly shower once with just some white enamel & it looked good for years. I pulled off the old soiled caulk & put in fresh white silicone ... it looked like a new shower. Good Luck :) -
