Use a curved shower curtain rod. Available in home improvement centers, hardware stores, Bed, Bath & Beyond, or many on line retailers.
If you plan to attach a curved shower curtain rod, be sure you are attaching it to the studs.
The curved shower rod is a great idea. Mine is straight and not only does the shower curtain sometimes cling to me, sometimes if I am not extremely careful, the water from the spray gets all over the bathroom floor. I would suggest magnets if the frame is more than aluminum, or use other weights to keep the curtain down. It takes both my hands to hold on to the safety bar and deal with soap and shampoo. It is very hard to babysit a shower curtain, too. Even unsafe. Thank you for trying to make a safe environment. I also recommend two safety bars near the toilet. Turning around is sometime difficult, too. Best wishes, Jewell.
I prefer a curved shower rod also. Consider two curtains so they move to either side out of the way when not in use.
Use a spring tension rod. You may have to go up in diameter to get one sturdy enough for the length, depends on the opening.
