As written it sounds like one of those existential questions. Is there something specific that you need help on?

I'm a fan of Closet Maid organizing systems and throwing out half of the stuff that's in there. Works every time. You know you won't wear it any more and if you do lose that 20 pounds you'll want to celebrate by buying a new one anyway.

Utilize all of the space available by going floor to ceiling (ie baskets on the shelves to utilize that space, use the space under your hanging clothes), have at Least some of the rod space set up one over the other to handle shirts, blouses, skirts etc leaving a smaller rod space for dresses. Have an area specifically set up for shoe storage, either under the dresses or in a tower or on the back of the door...how you handle that will depend upon how many pairs you’re dealing with. Scarves/belts can be hung on the back of the door, or located/displayed anywhere you’ve got a small wall, they also work well in a divided drawer or box with dividers
