I use curtains on my closet and matching valance for my window in that room.
Buy folding doors from Home depot or Lowe's. They mount to a bracket on the bottom and a rail on top.
They do not need the bottom rail as did your previous doors. They are also inexpensive.
You can put up a rod and hang curtains or a layer of colored beads.
Beads are right out of the 70s. Sounds like fun!
You can use a sheet if you really want to go cheap. A dark color or something to match your bedspread. Have you tried clraning the rollers on the door? Use a Brillo pad to clean the track.
I agree. Normally they hang up because they are out of adjustment and or have stuff in the lower rail.
That's why I like the newer ones that don't require that lower rail.
