Thanks for contacting me. Yes this head board is made from poster board. It is a tufted head board. There are 6 pieces of poster board over lapped and glued together. Quilting batting, fabric and covered buttons for tufting. I remember some of it but not all. This project was online sometime Wed thru Sat of this last week. The 23rd thru 28th of March. This Is The Easiest Headboard DIY (No Joke!)
Why not just use foam core, it would be sturdier and thicker and cheaper. You can buy sheets in DollarTree in several colors.
