Frame it and hang a regular door, there are doors that slide into the wall, the possibilities are endless and depends more on what you want. I would make a visit to Lowes, Menards, or Home Depot and ask the experts there to explain the different methods and costs.
Or if you need something more temporary you could get a curtain rod and either shower curtain or long curtain panel that match your decor in the room.
Curtians on a tension rod mounted in the closet frame.

In my book, if there is currently no door(s) on the closet, I would install a tension curtain rod and put up grommet one or two curtains (depends on width of opening) to slide easily open and closed to access the closet. You can add color and pattern to your room easily with them and they are washable and easy to change if you tire of them.
The less expensive way would be to use a curtain hung on a tension rod.
How about installing a shower curtain rod and hang a pretty shower curtain up? The rings should slide easily. It will do until you get a regular door installed.
