Try searching the thrift shops for wicker and iron accent pieces. Hang country prints on the wall. Paint a dresser to match your vintage quilt and coorinate with some flowery curtains. Have fun and let you shine through!
Lacy curtains and a braided rug will help pull in the theme, too. Go with a vintage table lamp or paint one you have with a crackle paint in a gray-blue to match the décor.
A cedar chest is always a nice addition. Patch work quilted pillows in similar colors to you quilt. Check your local thrift stores for an old rocking chair you can redo and add to the room. Put a nice crocheted blanket over the back of the chair or at the end if the bed.
Put up a chair rail around the perimeter of the room and cover the lower part of the wall with beadboard. Paint the lower half white, and choose your favorite color for the upper part of the walls.
Lacy curtains - also, some wall decor with pastoral scenery will go a long way!
Any piece of painted furniture, whether a chair, bench, rocker, or chest, or even a painted keepsake or jewelry box. I have a pretty framed quilt square that's about 16 inches, which I received as a gift that looks country. Use a pretty basket or two to tame clutter or as a hamper.
