Is it paneled glass or a solid one piece? Paneled would be easy by knocking out a panel (depending on the size of dog door). I gave up this issue and installed the dog door right in the wall. This way I had it right were I wanted it. They have the telescope type that works well even for like in my case, 6 inch walls. There is 2 flaps, one outside and one inside.
How to refurbish without replacing door - all the dog guards and balloons haven't worked with him. I just want to patch up the door - is there a vinyl wrap of sorts?...

The magnet in the knocker has "welded" to the door and seems impossible to remove. I have to paint the door so if the paint is damaged its not a problem.
