First you should follow the directions on the bag of dry cement you buy. There are a few different types and it is important to follow the directions. There is cement for setting in fence posts so that is what you need to ask if look for.
Get a post hole digger. You have to sink the poles deep so that they stay put.
Hi, Liz,
You need the help of an experienced saleperson from a local hardware store or similar. There are various types of cement available, but because some set more rapidly, you need to be very familiar with the options. Bags can be very heavy, and the dust created warrants eye and face protection, in addition to old clothes, appropriate gloves, etc.
First, go to You Tube and search for videos on installing your type of fencing. Secondly, after reviewing at least 6, look for problems you may incur before proceeding. You may decide you need some help with your project.
dig your hole to the proper depth, put some coarse gravel in the hole, set your post in, anchor it so its plumb and cant move, pour the dry cement mix in the hole, add a couple gallon of water and let it alone for at least 48 hr..be sure its plumb though cause its there to stay..fill with dirt.
