How Do I build a fire pit far enough away from my house and my trees?
I would like to build a brick fire pit but the one that is currently there is way too close to the house so I would like to move it over to the left and completely redo it to where I could grill on if I wanted to or just to marshmallow and chocolate on granola bars are not granola bars but round crackers and not how to worry about my house catching on fire or my trees catching on fire

A simple one would require you to find an area you like, pull up the sod and make a base of a few inches of sand surrounded by any number of brick, stone, pavers, decorative block. You can simply stack them or if you want to add mortar in between to make it a permanent structure. Lay flat stone or more pavers around it in a circle or square for about 18-24" for flying sparks so as to not to catch dry grass etc. on fire. You could also surround it with pea gravel found by the bag in home improvement centers.
Call your local fire department. If you are unsure of proper placement they will help you.

A proper chimney cap on the top of your new brick oven will help prevent fires, as would pruning any branches to near the oven, and rake any leaves away from the unit and put down pavers or gravel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UJ8Y6pc9XU
