How do I build a lean-to she'd?
We need extra storage for a lawn mower, gardening tools, and outdoor activity gear. Would it require pouring concrete? Any suggestions on the best materials?

no, you don't have to pour concrete -- but ... if you leave it 'dirt' it won't be as dry... and would/could be more apt to harbor vermin and insects. You could lay pavers - but if the foundation for them isn't properly prepared they won't remain level, and will be a trip hazard .... for storage of items that hold petroleum fluids - gas/oil, you should have some ventilation to prevent spontaneous combustion from excess heat build up in the area;
Depending on the overall size you think you may need now, consider doubling that -- because there is never enough storage room -- and it would be better to do it right the first time, rather than coming back next year or two and 'adding on' ...
