In my mind I see two slants coming together to make a roof. But how do they stay together? What keeps a frame in place.Where do I go to learn before I can create?

Home Depot have experienced people who would give you such wonderful ideas as well as know what materials to sell you.
To be self taught all you need is Google. Or enroll in an engineering or architecture classes at a local college or go to a trade school to learn construction basics as well as how to use, handle and care for tools.
Get the Pintrest app. Here’s some samples of all things chickens!
Go to the llibrary and search through carpentry books until you find one that gives you all of the information you will need.
Watch Youtube Videos you can learn anything, about everything.
My favorite go-to site for chickens, is BackYard Chickens. Everything you could ever want to know, and then some.
I folded and bought one! I will look into a school where I can learn some skills. I’ve looked at videos and Pinterest to death..I find tons of ideas but I need the skills first! Oh and thank you about Backyard Chickens, that was my next plan after I have housing .. I will learn all I can about my new friends..the chickens!
2 x 4 boards make the frame and they're connected with screws. Check out my chicken coop. There i a visual of the run and it will give you an idea of how things are connected.
