Google it is best..would need stone and rebar and wood planks to hold concrete in place
Here is info for a patio. If adjacent to your house, make sure it has a gentle slope away from the structure (s) so you do not have puddling against the foundation which will cause water intrusion and foundation problems down the road.

I would highly recommend doing all the prep work to local building code and hire a concrete contractor for the actual pour. Concrete is an art and a science and must be installed correctly otherwise you will end up with a crumbling mess. Concrete is a bit fussy, it can't be too hot or too cold. And keep watered down daily to keep it cool and promote an even cure which takes about 30 days.
Here is in for for a driveway. Again follow local code and make sure it slopes away from any structures.

On this one, I would recommend rethinking this. The reason is: added resource and patio blocks do not always as much as synthetic weathering, improve the site or equity.
Thus the job requires: Acid Wash [to eat the sealant and supply color] spots and smears and smidges of concrete colorant #2, 3 and 4, applied in sections with brush or roller, and a heavy sledehammer to synthetically age [and crack] the preexistent concrete and a broom.
Break it first, broom it, wash it, acid wash it, touch it up with colorant, if need be, acid wash [diluted no more than 90:10 as acid to water] and you then let it sit for a while and work before you powerwash it and plan to start hauling in any white wicker furniture.
As long as you are shrewd about where you sledge, and not even bother to sledge any sections you may want intact as a border, these will result a professionally aged look, that is as is: better than any retail mold can ever hope to create or reproduce. After that, you may want to integrate and find some old heavy Bricks to brick and mortar as a border, but that is up to you.
I know this works.
