This is an interesting site. There are several different ways to make shoe storage. I like #2 which is pvc pipe cubbies.

Hi Maritza, if you're looking for a really easy and inexpensive way you can purchase PVC pipe, the big one, and cut it too the right length. The PVC pipe is so perfect for putting shoes inside and you as many as you want inside the cupboard. They're also easy to paint too. You can use a hacksaw to cut them
Hi Maritza,
Really liked Mogie's link and agree with making the #2 project, that will keep them well organized and easy to see.
You can decorate or paint to match your decor and make it blend in yet be practical with the size pvc for your shoes..
I just purchased cloth shoe holders on Amazon that hand over the inside of the closet door. I love them
Hello,
Would you consider building a storage system for shoes?

I use the clear plastic shoe boxes. They easily stack if you use the same brand, you can see the shoes that are in the boxes, they stay clean, and if you have a lot of flats, sandals and flip flops, you can put more than one pair in them. You can also get an under the bed box and keep your shoes under the bed if you have a lot of shoes and boots that won't fit in the shoe boxes. I may be sixty-four, but I still use high heels, spikes and platform shoes and some don't fit the boxes. I keep them and my dress boots under my bed in an under the bed shoe box. At five foot three, I need them to get some height and so I don't have to shorten most of the pants I buy. I always where some kind of heel. I can't where flats, my arches hate them and start hurting real bad very shortly (started when I was in high school and got worse as I got older).
