
Burnt on food in my crockpot? How do I get it cleaned up?

Dip a sponge in baking soda and scrub a little, then add vinegar -it will bubble and let mixture sit awhile. -- You'll be amazed at how much cleaner it will be.Helpful Reply -

Put soapy water with a little vinegar in the crock pot and turn it on warm until it softens what has been burnt on the sides. Then dump the water and clean how you would normally clean.Helpful Reply -

Soaking it is the best idea but think about using crackpot liners in the future. They'll make clean-up a breeze. You can purchase at the dollar store.Helpful Reply -

Fill the offending pot with water to cover burned on food. Put a dryer sheet in and leave overnight. Next day, all the burned on food just comes right off with the wisk of a dishrag. sounds nuts but it works.Helpful Reply -
