Hi Connie! I would start the microwave for two mins with a bowl of water and vinegar. Then scrub scrub scrub with a sponge.

I'd try the vinegar and water first. If that isn't enough, make a paste with baking soda and water and spread it all over the inside of the microwave. The baking soda will loosen and absorb the grease so let it sit for a few hours or even overnight. To clean it all out, spray on the vinegar & water mix (50% each with a few drops of Dawn) then wipe clean. Repeat the vinegar and water mix until you're satisfied. Wishing you the best.
