How do I remove dried on raw egg from stainless steel

Question

A raw egg has dried in the bottom of a commercial refrigerator. What can I use to remove this?

I would think that getting it warm again (and wet) would cause it to liquify and be easier to clean. Just a thought!!! (Maybe a very warm/wet cloth????)

White vinegar and a squirt of lemon juice diluted in hot water might cut through it. Don't use anything abrasive, just a soft cloth and be sure to rinse well after. I use this to clean my stainless steel stove top and have done so for the last three years. So far so good. The lemon is just to tone down the pong of the vinegar.

Thanks for your comments. I actually soaked it with water over night and it came right out.
