If you mean the outside of the refrigerator I learned when I worked in a bakery, to wipe it clean with a damp rag then wipe it down with mineral oil.
I’ve spent 9 years working with a number of professionals to find the perfect stainless steel cleaner. My company deals with this issue every day. Finally last year we discovered this product from Aromatherapy Naturals. It’s PERFECT! I’ve never had a problem with it and it works every time on both commercial and residential applications.
Some important tips to remember:
1) ALWAYS rub with the grain or you’ll cause scratches
2) a soft cotton (not a blend) cloth works best
3) spray the cloth NOT the appliance
4) after you start using this product sometimes just a quick buff with a dry cotton cloth with no additional spray is all that’s needed.

I put an old towel on the floor and then apply a heavy spray of a stainless steel cleaner. I let it sit there a few minutes, then wipe with a soft rag in the direction of the grain. My final move is something I discovered recently...and I recommend it to all cat owners...use a magic eraser type sponge for a final wipe down because it removes the fur that is stuck on the appliances.
Hello Sarah,
I have been using the Weimans stainless steel spray cleaner and polish and have been very pleased with the results. In the past I had used Scots Liquid Gold spray.
