Bathroom cabinet hinges renewal?
My hinges on my bathroom cabinets have green mold on them from the shower steam. How do I remove this and make them look new again?

Heat ½ cup vinegar in a small glass bowl in your microwave. Add salt to make a vinegar salt paste. Rub some of the mixture on your hinges to remove the tarnish. Rinse with water and dry off.
Remove the hinges and soak in distilled white vinegar for 48 hours. The mold should come off. Seal the hinges with clear nail polish, using 3 coats. You need a very good exhaust fan, sized for your bathroom, with auto humidity sensor. Otherwise, run the fan during every shower/bath, and for a minimum of 20 minutes, afterwards. Ideally, your home's humidity level should not exceed 40%. If it does, look at purchasing a dehumidifier.
Usually the same 'Magic Bubbles' that you use to clean your tub work on these.
But, it may be time to change your toothbrush.
Let me explain...
Worst comes to worst you just disassemble and soak those hinges in a small plastic container [you know from potato salad and diced fruits, all homeowners save] with nondiluted Mr. Clean and after a day or two of soak, scrub they clean with an Old Toothbrush.
Thanks I will try this....
