Use CLR
We have issues with this of calcium and other minerals on faucets. Adrienne is right, CLR works great. If you are talking about shower glass or windows, mix a spray bottle of 1/3 dawn dish liquid, 2/3 apple cider vinegar. Mix, spray, give a few minutes then clean with a scotch bright pad.
Kathy: I have good success with Lime Away... soak cloth in it and apply to deposit and hold for a while (wear rubber gloves!)
Don't use vinegar on faucets mounted in granite or marble, as it will "etch" the surface.
I've found vinegar gel, available in a spray bottle works well.
