There is no reason why a damp cloth and then wiping with a dry towel would not resolve your issue.
Use VINEGAR! First, thoroughly clean the mirror with your favorite product or homemade solution, then wipe it dry. For an anti-fog treatment, dip a cloth in a mixture of one quart hot water and 2 tbsp vinegar, and use it to wipe down the mirror. Then, let it air dry (versus drying it with a cloth).

Shaving soap smeared onto the mirror and then wiped off seams to do the trick.
Isopropyl/Rubbing alcohol and newspaper or clean white cloth to wipe no fabric softener(add to streaking) on cloth.
