Does anyone know how to clean carpet of a calcium (milk) stain?

My husband spilled a glass of milk on our new light colored carpet & tried to clean it with regular carpet cleaner.  The milk seemed to stiffen the carpet a little & it has a grey cast under the milk stain.

Since milk is 'organic,' the product I recommended to another Home Talk member earlier this afternoon for her cat urine problem should work for you too. Read my comments to her here: http://www.hometalk.com/diy/clean/furniture/q-cleaning-tips-cat-urine-removing-leather-chair-5098530 For your situation, you would want to use the P-Bath first (since you've already treated the stain with something else), then the Anti Icky Poo, and you'll want to get a large needle and syringe so you can inject the Anti Icky Poo down into the padding. Then, for the gray cast under the milk stain, you might want to consider the Stain Remover. I'm sure you'll eventually have other accidents on your new carpet, especially if you have pets, and having the Anti Icky Poo products on hand will, no doubt, come in handy. Even though I'm a new user of the Anti Icky Poo, I'm 100% sold on its effectiveness and I will no longer waste my time with homemade stain treatments, or my money on other products. BTW, I have absolutely no affiliation with this company or any distributers! :)
