How to clean fabric softener that spilled on my car's carpet?

Fabric Softener was spilled on my cars carpet. I didn't know it, Now it is dried and I need to know how to clean it?

I use a water extraction Bissell carpet cleaner on mine. Very little soap and it may take a couple of tries to get it all out. If you don't have a carpet shampooer taking it to an auto detailer is a good choice. -

I would try moistening the area and blotting up as much as possible, hopefully it did not discolor the carpet. You may end up shampooing the carpets after you gotten out as much as possible. -

use a bucket of water and old towel or rag to sop it up after wetting it well. Keep changing the water and using wet rag to scrub it up. Then dry it well with paper towel or dry old towel or even hair dryer.
