How can I remove packing tape residue from a quilt and fleece blanket?

I have a hand made quilt and a heavy fleece blanket. Both were used to wrap fragile items during a move. Packing tape was applied directly to these items and now there is stickey tape residue on both. Please advise how to remove. Thank you.

Try Goo Gone or Goof Off. Make sure it's OK for fabrics.
