Use Dish Soap to Get Grease Stains Out of Your Clothes. When it comes toclothing stains, grease seems to be one of the more troublesome offenders. However, dish soap can make quick work of the grease, even if the stain itself isold.

I use Lestoil on clothes. If the stain is not gone on the first wash, reapply use Lestoil on clothes. If the stain is not gone on the first wash, reapply Lestoil and rewash. Repeat as many times needed, but should only need one or two washes. It is great for getting out any kind of stain in clothes (i.e grass stains, etc.). I always used Cheer detergent and Lestoil to make clothes smell good. My grandson remembers and loves the smell when I use it.

I have used all of the above remedies with success. It does sometimes takes repeated washings to totally eliminate the stain. Another tip is to use shampoo and work it into the stain with an old toothbrush, let it sit and then wash it. Repeat if needed.

Shampoo. It's a natural degreaser, and gentle on clothes. I've used WD40 and followed by shampoo to remove black axle grease from white jeans. Don't put item in dryer until stain is completely gone!

Grease stains also respond well to baking soda mixed with Dawn dish liquid and vinegar. Make a paste and use a nail brush or toothbrush to scrub the spot. Then rinse it well in hot water before putting it in the machine. I did this with bacon grease and it worked well.

I have had really good luck with a series of products from Carbona. They have products for specific stains, such as: ketchup, oil, grease, lipstick, etc. They also have a prewash to help before washing that works well.
