Brown paper and electric iron Put the paper over the wax and with iron on low heat iron over the wax The paper will soak up the wax

Scrape all you can off first with a spoon or plastic putty knife. Warm iron as Scot mentions, but NO Steam. Paper towelling in several layers, or layers of brown paper sack material (the kind groceries use, no waxed paper bags though) Keep changing out new paper as the warmed wax is absorbed into the paper.

As above, brown paper shopping bags & an iron w/o steam, keep @ it until the wax is gone, works like a charm

I use lots of paper towels. You will know wax is up when PT comes clean.
