Cleaning stains on my mattress

Question

I have recently had a couple of very serious operations and have found I cannot get my walker to the bathroom fast enough. I have noticed pee stains and other stains on my mattress this morning. Can someone please help me remove the stains.... some are dry  and others are fresh.  thank you in advance

Try making a spray with hydrogen peroxide mixed with baking soda and a dab of soap.Spray the area down and dab the stains.

Janet did it again! I agree! Eight ounces of hydrogen peroxide, three teaspoons of baking soda, A few squirts of dish washing liquid. Spray the stains. You will see them slowly disappear. Dab, don't rub, with a clean cloth. When its dry you can brush off any baking soda residue.

Great advice on getting out the stains. And another suggestion is to purchase an enzyme treatment made for dog and cat urine to remove any remaining odor after cleaning. I bought this because we have 3 dogs and accidents do happen. But I also use it for any odor (such as underarm odor on dry clean-only clothing.) I find it works very well. Try 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide with a few drops of dawn dish washing liquid. Somebody posted this mixture on Hometalk and it literally saved me $$$$ because I was ready to tear out my carpet. If you have an issue with odors, try Nature's Miracle. It may also remove the stain but it will definitely remove the odor. Also, there are disposable bed pads that you can use while you are recovering if you do not feel like dealing with the stains. I used them for weeping from an incision on my abdomen.

my dog was in heat and bled all over mine so I used the faithful mixture of peroxide, Dawn liquid and some soda  and put some on, left it to set. and it was gone by the time it dried. I didn't have to soak it either.
