Purple paint on off white carpeting

I have off white carpeting and spilled a quarter sized purple paint on it. It is water based paint.

Try using goop it is lanolin it doesnt require water and in my experience It takes out Everything. you can buy it at Home Depot -

After you use the Goop, spray with Hydrogen Peroxide to get out the remaining stain. -

What about non acetone nail polish remover? Or i know for sure index works on stains on carpet. -

If nothing else works the pro's do it this way. They find a piece of the carpet ( hopefully you kept a square or two) and cut out the damage with a sharp utility knife. Then they put down a square that matches and fills in the space and they glue it with a glue gun. Rub it to blend a bit.
