How to Clean my windshield?

I have an older car which has some pitting on the windshield. I live in a dusty area. Is there a product I can put on my windshield to keep the dust from clinging so stubbornly?

I live on a dirt road and clean mine on a shady day with a foam glass cleaner then put a rainex type product on it the dirt won't stick -

Also,window wax works well. It's a bit of work to put on, but then the dust should just be able to be rinsed off with cool water. Don't use your wipers to clean your glass, it will abrade your glass and wear out your wipers sooner. -

You could try rubbing the windshield with a dryer sheet
