have you tried Mr. Clean Magic eraser
Sand the spots. Restain & seal.
Looks like you might end up sanding and putting a coat of poly on there. First you can try acetone, denatured alcohol or 91% isopropyl alcohol. Not all together, one at a time. Not sure if they will work, it it’s worth a shot.

Problem solved. I used full strength tea tree oil letting it sit for a few minutes then rubbing compound on a soft cloth. Marks are totally gone and the wood is still in great shape. Thanks everyone for your help!
