How can I safely remove masking tape from my kitchen cabinets?

I am painting my kitchen cabinets and unfortunately have left the masking tape on the floor around painted area long enough for it to really be stuck.. Now the tape is like glued to my laminate floor and I cannot get it off without scratching or removing the floor finish.

Googone is a product you can use but I would recommend trying vegetable oil first to remove the sticky and then clean with soapy water.
Goo Gone or WD40 on the tape. Use something plastic like a credit card to scrape off. Won;t damage the finish. Do not use masking tape. Use blue or green painters tape and remove right after painting.
Hello Leslie,
Try squirting WD-40 on the tape. It should then come off. Or buy Goo Gone!
You might need to use a razor blade. Score the corner and very gently scrape it up. Next time use frog tape. It's worth it. And always remove tape while the paint is wet.
