I was going to suggest bleach. But if B.Enne's suggestion works, it would be better.

  @Liliana Wells it works well. I was skeptical when I bought it quite a few years ago. I had never heard of it, and it wasn't terribly expensive, so I wondered if it was any good. I used it on an awning that had been rolled up for a while with green and black mold. It took 3 applications on a few areas that were really bad, and I let it dry in the sun. I did test bleach in an inconspicuous spot. The spot obviously became discoloured, and it dried out and split. The Mold Control did a better job, and the fabric was fine afterwards. I see that even Mike Holmes endorses it now. You have nothing to lose but a few bucks...

Use a power washer with Dawn dish detergent & baking soda if necessary. I would not use chemicals to clean any baby products. Wet, soap up, spray with power washer, let dry in sun. Even a hose with spray nozzle & good water pressure will work. I have done this with strollers & they look brand new.

I use TSP. Better known as Bleach, Tide detergent,water mix well and spray it on. Let it set for about an hour and rinse off well.
