"bathtub rings" in our bathroom porcelain sink.sink

I have gray, rings... slightly rough to the touch and impossible to scour away or remove with a liquid or powder cleanser. They are on the back or the ceramic sink , just above the drain. The white 'magic' sponge doesn't help either ?

Hello. Here is just one way to clean those bathrooms stains. However, you can find many other suggestions by clicking on YouTube and doing a search on the topic of cleaning stains from porcelain tubs :

ineaYou might try closing the drain. Put some baking soda in sink then vinegar that you heated in micro. Make sure to put in enough to cover the stain. Let soak then scrub with brush. If all else fails. Use a pumice stone, gently.

If your water is hard you may have calcium or lime clinging to or etching the porcelain. You need to use a cleaner that will break down the hard water scale without damaging the porcelain. Two parts baking soda and one part white vinegar, make a paste and apply it to the stain, let it sit for 5 mins, then rub it with a damp sponge. If that doesn't work try one of the commercial products lie CLR.
