Clean a film off of a ceramic tile floor

I used a suggestion to clean tile floors using baking soda, vinegar and dawn. Now I have a film that just doesn't come off. I used plain water, I tried just water & vinegar and just a dawn/water mix. Nothing seems to take it off. Help?

You may have had some waxy product build up the vinegar broke down. No more soap. Try plain very hot water and clean dry towel wipe off or try a bit of amonia or alcohol on a damp towel in a spot.

The residue left on the floor is because of the soap. Ceramic flooring does not require soap ,or baking soda.A simple mixture of 50/50 white vinegar and water was all you needed.

Have you tried using "oxygen bleach" from Stain Solver. The stuff is really amazing. A friend of mine bought me a bottle when they were in the States and I wish they sold the stuff here in South Africa. I'm running really low but it cleans everything, mildew, t-shirt stains, tiles, wooden decks you name it
