I've used the shampoo method of cleaning overspray from hairspray. Shampoo is formulated to strip hairspray from hair without damage. It will do the same on other surfaces too. Apply, let it sit to do its work and rinse thoroughly. It worked on wallpaper, painted walls (high-gloss paint) as well as varnished wooden doors and cabinets. I haven't tried it on marble or granite counters, but it did work on a porcelain pedestal sink.

CLR Sports Stain Cleaner. Spray it on for 2-3 minutes wipe with dry washcloth. Mop with soap and water. Unbelievable!!

  • Use shampoo - it works on your hair, so it will work here. Just be sure to rinse it well.
