Have a plastic sink in a mobile home that has hard water stains and discoloration spots. Can't seem to get them off. Any ideas?
Vinegar and medium sponge will do the kob
Hi Rkolaga,
I use baking soda and water (just sprinkle BS on the use a wet sponge), then vinegar and water (spray on a 50/50 mix) for any stains that are left. To make stainless steel shine, polish it with any kind of vegetable oil because it gets dry. Wishing you the best.

I always use a white distilled vinegar & water solution. I thoroughly wet the hard water stains and let it sit, watering as necessary to keep that section as wet as possible, with the vinegar/water solution. I would do half half. It just takes a few minutes (5 to 10). The vinegar softens the calcium deposits and then I just scrub with the Scotch Brite side of a sponge and a little abrasive cleanser (Ajax, Comet). Rinse well.
I am so lazy I just rub it with WD40 on a paper towel then wipe with dry paper towel.
