What is the best way to clean a burnt pot?

Sometimes a water and baking soda paste works to remove the oil. Apply the paste, let it dry then rub off with sos pad (if it is stainless steel) or a soft sponge (if it is non-stick).Helpful Reply -

If the baking soda paste doesn't help, the Bar Keepers Friend is a great thing. I got a used set of Salad Master pans that were coated with oil and burnt did and Bar Keepers Friend made them look brand newHelpful Reply -
