Cleaning painted hinges

Hello,
does anyone remember the site that shows how to clean in an old crockpot hinges on kitchen cupboards that have been painted and are grungy..

Yep. It was on one of the flip shows in Minneapolis. Can't remember the woman's name but sure have used her method. Just put water and a few drops of Dawn dish soap in the crockpot, turn it on and let it cook them for about ten hours. The paint should just lift off. You might have to pick at it a bit or use a steel brush, but they paint will come off.- See 2 previous
