DO NOT attempt to use bleach to clean the stains, as this will only lighten them.

Use common household baking soda. Just pour a tablespoon into a small bowl, add water sparingly – enough to make a paste, then rub on the stain with a soft clean rag or a damp household sponge. Those stains will be gone!

Vinegar and salt are also old-fashioned remedies for removing coffee stains. Mix a paste of salt and white vinegar. Apply to the stain with a soft clean cloth or damp household sponge. Use a little elbow grease; the gentle abrasiveness of the salt plus the acidic power of the vinegar should take the stain away. Be sure to rinse with clean water.

As a former employee of Corning Inc and owner of Corelle since 1970 all you need to do is put some bleach in hot dish water, soak for a bit then wash as usual. But be careful if the stains are scratches stained if you bump or drop they will shatter. Good luck !

I sprinkle baking soda in the cups and with a damp dish cloth I go around the inside of the cups and viola the stains are gone.

I don't have a dishwasher and only wash dishes by hand. I swear by sprinkling a little bit of baking soda in the stained cups and scrubbing, then rinsing well. Works great for me.

I used to have a set and used Comet (or Ajax, anything like that and it's cheap) gently and the stains were gone completely!
