    stained glass window cookies- 1/2 granulated sugar, 1/2 cup butter- the real stuff,1/2 cup dark corn syrup,1/2 cup milk, 3 1/2c to 3 3/4 cup flour.,1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, assorted colored hard candies.


    cream sugar and butter together until lite and fluffy stir in milk and syrup. sift all dry ingredients together, add to above mixture. cover and chill 1-2 hours. then line a sheet pan with foil and oil it. crush hard candies keeping the colors separate. make shapes from dough cut openings for crushed candy...fill the open spots. bake at 350 8-9 min. cool for 3-5 min. peel off foil.cool completely


    chocolate chip cookies- 1 cup soft butter, 3 cup brown sugar, 4 eggs

    7 cups Bisquick, 1 cup nuts-only if you like nuts,12 oz chocolate chips.


    mix butter and brown sugar and eggs. stir in Bisquick, add nuts and chips. drop on to un greased cookie sheet. bake 10-12 min. at 350.


    candy bar cookies- 1c brown sugar,1/2 c soft butter, 1/2 cup light corn syrup, 3 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp. salt, 4 cups quick oats, mix and spread into pan. bake at 350 for 15 min. top with peanut butter, then chocolate chips...if there any left from snacking on them.


    oat meal cookies


    1 cup solid shortening

    1 c sugar

    1c brown sugar

    2 eggs

    1 tsp vanilla

    1.5 cups flour

    1 tsp salt

    1 tesp baking soda

    3 cups oats. set oven to 350


    cream sugars and shorting. add eggs and vanilla. sift salt flour salt and soda. add to wet ingredients. add oats and mix. bake cookies 10-12 min, until golden brow,


    nieman marcus cookies


    2 c butter

    2 cup brown sugar

    2 cup white sugar

    4 eggs

    2 tsp vanilla

    4 c flour

    5 c blended oat meal- small batches in the blender more like a flour

    1 tsp salt

    2 tsp baking pwd

    2tsp baking soda

    24 oz chocolate chips

    8 oz heresy candy bar- gratted

    3 cup chopped nuts of choice


    mix butter and sugars add vanilla.mix flour oatmeal,salt, baking pwd and soda. then add chips, Hershey bar,nuts. roll into balls, place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. bake at 375.


    peanut butter cookies


    3/4 cup peanut butter

    2 tbs oleo

    1/3 cup + 2 tbs apple sauce

    1 1/4 cup flour

    1/2 cup suger

    1/2 cup brown sugar

    1 egg

    1 tbs soda

    1/4 tsp baking powder


    drain apple sauce of excess juice--i line a strainer with a coffee filter at the start of the mixing, cream butter and sugar p.b. and apple sauce, egg. then add all the dry stuff. mix and bake at 350 for 10-12 min.


    rice cookie treats


    3 table spoon margarine

    1 pkg or 10 marshmallows or

    4 cups mini marshmallows


    6 cups crispy rice cereal - coco pebbles, fruity pebbles, rice crispy cereal your choice.


    melt marshmallows and butter. add cereal. coat 9x13 pan with oil/ shortening- butter your spatula to spread these out.


    indoor smores no bake


    8 cups golden gram cereal, 5 c mini marshmallows, 1.5 c chocolate chips. 5 tbs margarine, 1 cup mini marshmallows, 1/4 cup corn syrup

    put golden grams, marshmellows, milk chocolate, margarine in a bowl an micro wave until mixable/ 2-3 min.stir in vanilla,cereal,add last of mini marsh mellows. put in oiled 9x13 pan. cool and eat.


    aunt rosies sugar cookies


    12 eggs

    4 cups sugar

    2 c butter/ oleo

    1 cup buttermilk w/ 2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt

    add enough flour to make a stiff dough.

    rool out dough, have fun with cookie cutters. bake at 350 until lightly brown on edges. good cookie mix for tree ornaments, and edible too

    i roll mine out on the counter top, on a plastic mat usually used for pie dough....it washes up well in the sink..I don’t trust the heat of the dishwasher...as for the sheet pans..parchment paper The bakers type. It’s a no stick no mess solution.


    if you are rolling out the dough on the counter there are hand held scrapers fat in shape not a traditional spatula.. those work great
