How do I get rid of odor in gas fireplace logs?

Our gas logs are putting out a funny odor when in use. It isn’t because of just burning off the dust from not being used all summer. What do I do?

Hi Judy, funny odor from gas logs is something you need to have checked out. The gas company will come and check your gas connections (I don't think they even charge) . You need to get this checked out, gas leaks are very dangerous. Please get this looked at and stay safe.

Have a gas certified plumber take a look at them. Gas is called the silent killer for a reason. This could make you sick or worse.
