How do you remove gold paint on glass?

I have tried a glass scraper without much success.

Try rubbing a small amount of acetone over the gold a little at a time and see if it removes the paint. It should not be harmful to glass.

Have you tried "Goof off"? You can get it at any hardware store. It works well. I just used it to remove paint from a doorknob and plexiglass (spell?).
