How can I get my deep fat fryer cleaned up?

I have a deep fat fryer with cooked on grease. I have tried degreasers, dish soap, and just plain elbow grease. Still very sticky and unuseable. How can I get this cleaned up? Help??

You cant, you have to maintain it after each use , throw it away and purchase an airfryer seriously you will love it -

Hi Judy, Teach it to "clean itself". Sort of - Read the article below and you'll see what I mean. Also try following up with a vinegar wash if your inside is not stainless steel If it is, don't use vinegar. Vinegar really cuts the grease.
