How can I remove engraving from wedding cake knife ?

I have a wedding cake knife with beautiful handle that I would like to repurpose. How can I remove the handle safely or the engraving?

I would take it to a store (or jeweller) that does engraving. If it isn't too deep, they may be able to buff it out.

You could also think about adding a design on top that disguises it, like they do with tattoos.

It's heard to say how to remove the handle without good clear close up photos.

Put a picture up. Perhaps a jeweler or handyman can help you. The engraving can be grinder out. I would just cover over w something fancy. Hugs
