How do I clean around the bottom of our shower?

We've tried all the store brands, bleach, soft scrub, barkeepers friend and still can not get it looking better. It's a blackish stain about a foot around the drain.

Is it possible that the finish has worn off from a lot of scrubbing? If so, there are kits you can buy to redo your porcelain tub, but they won't last forever and they STINK to put on so you'll need a lot of ventilation plus a mask and glasses to protect yourself. Another option would be to call a professional to look at it to make sure that is the problem. Wishing you the best. -

Is it cast iron with white porcelain coating? If so, you've worn the finish off, check to make sure it hasn't rusted through allowing water to leak into the subfloor. If its still intact, you can get a touch-up repair kit but they are small so will probably take a fewIf the metal is breaking up, I would clean it with Rustoleum Rust Dissolve, and then use a bondo kit for such a large repair. I have a small rusted chip in my tub I repaired with this stuff and it lasted 10 years before I had to do it again. I used 2-part marine epoxy.
